Welcome to the Deep Dive 360. In this video, I'm going to talk to you about a powerful process that you'll go through every quarter as part of the ZNOS system, and it's incredibly powerful. And let's talk about first why it exists. What problems was this created to solve? First of all, most entrepreneurs are notoriously bad at looking back and appreciating how far they've come. They're constantly focused

on the next goal, the next big thing, whatever they have to do tomorrow, whatever they have to do next week. And they rarely sit back and think, well, I've really come a long way this week. I've really come a tremendous distance and evolved a ton as a person in the past year. I'm proud of that. That's a thought process that is incredibly, incredibly valuable, but entrepreneurs just

don't do it. Number two, a lot of entrepreneurs base their goals and projects on purely emotional reasoning. And they don't take careful stock of their business's strengths, weaknesses, and the actual hard numbers that drive their bottom line. Now it's okay. It's natural to have goals that are emotionally driven, and we'll talk in the goals video about how to utilize emotion and how to make sure that your

goals electrify you. But it's also vitally important that you don't miss any key areas of your business when you're setting goals. A great example of this is a lot of business owners love marketing, but they hate finance. So if they just base their goals on purely emotional reasoning, all their goals will be sales driven, marketing driven, revenue driven, they'll all be in the realm of their expertise.

But if they took careful stock of their bottom line and their numbers and their actual data, a quantitative analysis, they would see that maybe their operations is struggling. Their business isn't very efficient. Maybe they're dripping a lot of money out through certain processes they use, and they need to whip that area into shape. Maybe they need to hire an accountant. Maybe they need to spend more time

on their budgeting process. These are all things that you just have to do if you want to have a successful business, but you often won't know or you won't have sufficient motivation to do them unless you can see exactly why they're needed and how they're impacting you. A lot of entrepreneurs burn out. They don't know how to appreciate the journey. They haven't learned the skill of being

motivated by progress and recognizing how far they've come and getting pleasure from that next incremental gain, and they're constantly focused on how much further they have to go and it feels like they're constantly working and they never get there. And what happens is they lose their motivation and hunger and they burn out. And this is really hard to recover from. It's happened to me. It's happened to

a lot of people I know, and it's not something you want to go through if you can avoid. So these are the problems that the Deep Dive 360 was created to solve. Now let's talk about the solutions you'll get from it. First of all, you'll have a deep appreciation of your journey, of how far you've come, the progress you've made, and you'll enjoy feeling this progress. You'll

enjoy feeling how far you've come. It's really unique when you write about how far you've come, when you write about how you've grown as a person, all the things you've accomplished, you realize how often you just overlook these things. It's so easy to focus on what you don't have, what you haven't accomplished yet, et cetera. We often are actually incredibly surprised when we look at what we

have accomplished. It's like, wow, I had no idea that I had done that much, and that builds self-confidence, that builds self-awareness, and it builds crucially momentum. Next, you'll have powerful goals that are emotional, so they drive you based on emotions, which all goals need to be in line with your emotions, but they're also based on calculated reasoning. They have been derived from careful quantitative analysis, and so

they're very specific and targeted, and you'll be able to craft your goals and projects with laser precision, like a craftsman, like a builder-length brick after brick, to achieve a very specific blueprint instead of just blindly picking things based on emotion. Finally, you'll enjoy huge momentum, this feeling that you're just on a streak, you're on a run, you're killing it, you're crushing it, this physiological feeling creates a

positive upward spiral, you keep performing really well, you experience a ton of enjoyment in ease, and it's antidote to burnout. You're constantly seeking that next incremental gain, you care more about the process and improvement and the outcome itself. So what is a deep dive through 16? It starts by taking stock of how far you've come this past year, or this past quarter, and reflecting on what you've

learned and how you've grown as a person. Then it dives into your emotional journey, and some of the things that you've learned, some of your revelations, we take a look at your numbers, and then we integrate this quantitative and qualitative feedback into a plan of action. We talk about that plan of action in the video on goals. Finally, once you've completed this deep dive process and the

goals portion in the next video, you'll review your carefully crafted goals and projects on a daily, weekly, and quarterly basis to ensure focus, to adapt and make sure you hit them, and to build concept momentum. So, we'll talk about this more later, for now I'm going to screen share with you what this workbook looks like. So here's the workbook. There are two sections to it, and this

should say deep dive through 60, and the first section is called past data and strategic reflection. The other section is on setting goals, and we cover that in the next video. So, in this workbook, we're going to go through the five key pillars of any business, which are marketing, product and sales, distribution channels. This is not as relevant for agencies, but it's still relevant in terms of

how you distribute marketing content and stuff like that. So, it's still in here, operations and technology, finances, and then leadership and people. We'll also be visiting the foundation of your progress upon which ZenOS is built, which is your execution and performance. So, I'm just going to scroll through this, and give you a quick overview. So, we start off by going through each of the pillars, and it

asks you a bunch of questions. For example, lead generation, lead conversion, follow up systems, you see a bunch of different questions related to your marketing. Rate them each on a scale of 1 to 10, and then summarize. How would you rate its overall strength, the overall strength of this pillar? How important will this pillar be to your business's quarter? What insights did you receive? You're going to

do this for each quarter, distribution channels, so this is going to be how you distribute your products and services, so it's going to be things like software platforms, marketing channels. Then we're going to talk about operations and technology, so this is your tech, your processes, your efficiency, your systems. Then we're going to talk about your finances, revenue expenses, profits, your financial team, budgeting, and things like that.

Then we're going to look at your leadership and people. How much you love what you do, your motivation, your vision, your team, if you have a team. If you don't have a team, you'll probably have a team by the end of this program, and your culture, and things like that. And finally, your execution and performance, and this is where ZANOS will bring all these numbers to a

9 or a 10 if you run it. But to start out, some of them are probably going to be low, so it's going to be things like your goal, project, and task management, you and your team's ability to break down goals and projects into manageable chunks, your daily habits and routines, and things like that. Finally, we get into the qualitative section. This is where you list things

like your accomplishments, the lessons you learn, weak points, missed opportunities, just a bunch of qualitative questions. Then we talk about your strengths, weaknesses, threats to the business, and take analysis of that. This gives you an overview. I didn't go through all of it, because you'll go through all of it on your own. But it's an incredibly, incredibly valuable process. And you want to make sure that you

do it every quarter. If you do it every quarter, you'll build incredibly self-awareness, incredible momentum, and you will have a deep, deep understanding of how your business operates, what areas you need to improve on, what your trends are, what opportunities and weaknesses you have. And you'll just have an incredibly deep level of clarity that most business owners never reach. So that is the deep dive 360. Go

through the workbook and then move on to the next video where we'll set electrifying goals.
