Hey everyone, a perfect bond day here and in this module lesson, whatever we're calling it, we're going to go over how to structure your perfect month. And the best of us, the billionaires that they go by, this concept that months don't really affect reality, but from talking to a bunch of people and measuring when is a good interval for them to take these trips, we found a
month is pretty good. Some people like weekly stuff, but a month is pretty spot on. So today we're going to go over travel and accommodations that has structured that, especially if you're doing it on a monthly basis. We're going to go over travel systems and how to adjust your rem. So that way you're not loopy because going over longitudinal lines will mess you up. 80-20 systems and
what to expect from traveling. We're going to go over your work at water and meal systems, how to change your physical body to affect your mindset. And lastly, Matt's going to go over how unplugging will actually force multiply your efforts. Travel and accommodation in this day and age, you can stay in crazy places that were never offered before because of a little thing that we love called
Airbnb. And so there's a process for how to actually book an Airbnb in a safe area in other places with enough systems for you to live a life properly in the worksheet below. And so we recommend Airbnb or hotel chains that are really similar. I don't know if we're going to add this yet, but if it is below, awesome. How to actually get hotels for free. That's
something we might add later on. A really big part of this is when you are traveling, yes, we do want you to disconnect, but things come up and there's certain fires that sometimes you need to put out. And so, or constantly you need to upload or you just need a high speed connection. So we recommend going to areas that have a Wii Works. Wii Works is a
phenomenal company. If you don't know it, they have co-working space. It's really cheap. It's a month on month. You can even get a test for a couple of days and you'll be able to operate like you're in a regular office in any country. It's actually amazing to be able to do that. On top of that, if you just like working from home or you have an amazing
vista in your home, when you book an Airbnb, go book through the work portal, they'll make sure that you have the things necessary for work, Wi-Fi, lighting, desk, space, et cetera, et cetera. Go through those things. And all these things will be in the sheet below. Okay. Travel systems and REM adjustment. When you travel, it's going to mess with you. Okay. There's no way to live the
Laptop Lifestyle and be completely optimal, but the best system is not actually what creates the most or produces the most. The best system is the one that is the most, I guess the least susceptible is what I want to say to stress, the one that can handle the most stress. I mean, guys, what do you want to bridge that can take the most cars across here? Do
you want to bridge that can withstand the most earthquakes in the earthquake area or can withstand the most cars across it? I'm guessing you're going to go over the second one and when you build your travel systems, I want you to build those. So go below. This is what I carry. This is the systems I implement whenever I go anywhere. I'm a single guy. Keep that in
mind. I don't have other people to look out for. For those of you that do end up traveling with your families or girlfriends or wives or whatever, please let us know what you do and how you modify this because we would love to add to the course. Two, you've got to get melatonin. It's going to shift your circadian rhythm back into where you should be and that's
going to not only fix jet lag and all these inconvenient things, but you're going to be on top of your stuff and you're going to be seeing clearly. And a lot of travel muddies, not only your vision, but also muddies, your internal organs, but whatever runs homeostasis in your body and the way your hormones flow. And so if you reset it with melatonin, your body will be
okay. And one side effect, if you don't believe me and you don't want to get it now, every time you cross a time zone, you're going to gain five to 10 pounds. It's inevitable. And so the best way I found to mitigate that or preempt that is to take melatonin because I'm assuming you don't want to gain weight. If you want to gain weight, travel more. It'll
be awesome. Anyways, like I said earlier, I'm sure your recommendations. And this is exactly how I set up my systems in every place. And you'll see like for Latin America, there's different systems for the US and Canada's different systems, there's different providers for what you can get to set up those systems and how much it should cost. All that's in there. So it'll be really helpful and
you won't feel lost when you get to a new place as most people do. Expectations. Okay. I mean, you're going to be going to these crazy places in the world overlooking significant vistas. Life's going to be amazing, but things will break. Whether it's in your company or your personal systems, your productivity systems, your workout systems, your mindset systems, things will break, expect it. When it does, look
at it, adjust, move on. Don't try to overcompensate for it. Like if you miss a workout, don't try to do two, three hours the next day. Don't work on twice a day. It seems ideal, but fatigue and recovery is actually more important for you in this stage of your life than just raw output. So stick to the plan, 80, 20, if you mess up 20% is fine,
anything above that, maybe you're using travel as an excuse, but anything below that, you're good. All right, physical mindset systems, you've got to get out of your head. You have to have to have to have to get out of your head. Start running the gym if you don't already. Start doing yoga if you don't already. I'm serious. Stretching is such a huge component of strength, strength and
mental strength too. You should be able to run forever. There's a book called Slow Burn by Stu Middleman. He's, I think he still holds the world record for running the most miles. I think it's like a thousand something in 10 days. He'll show you how to do it. It's really easy. This is going to get you out of your head. This is going to get you to
enjoy the trip that you're on and the place you are in life now. Okay. On top of that, you've got to drink, you know, depending on your size, look at how many leaders of water you should drink, me and Matt do like four or five a day. That's going to change the way you approach life. Most people are actually just dehydrated. Think about it this way. If
it takes two to three days to die from lack of water, after you not drinking enough water for a day, you're already a third dead. Most people are the living dead. They're walking around with their phones and their hands and watching TV and doing unproductive things because they're dehydrated. Don't be dehydrated. It's really easy to fix. Get used to water. As far as nutrition goes outside of
hydration, get used to meal prepping, go to that sheet with the systems. You'll see how to get meal prep in each area. Get used to restaurant chains. There are certain restaurant chains in every area that will have a healthy meal. You can go grab. And honestly, whey protein, pea protein is your best friend. It's one of the only ways you're going to get the protein you need
to maintain the muscle mass you need to maintain the amount of BDF that's produced to maintain the amount of brain growth you have. And if any of those didn't make sense, go post on the Facebook group and ask about it. But these are really important things. So go do all those three things, okay? Work out water and meal systems. Absolutely necessary for you to stay in a
really good mindset because when you're here and you've made it, then your business is paying you every month. You don't really have to work. You don't take meetings. You can live anywhere. It's very common for people and it happens to us often, especially when we don't, when we straighten these systems above that 20% like I mentioned. It's very common for people not to know what to do.
And that brings a lot of uncertainty in their lives like, okay, so I'm not running the rat race. So what should I be doing? That won't happen if you have these systems unlocked. Cool. All right. Now over to Matt. All right. So now I want to talk with you guys about disconnecting and the importance of it and how it's actually a force multiplier for your day to
day energy as well as your business performance and success. So how I want you guys to think about this is that, again, disconnection is a force multiplier and here are a few reasons why. So when you disconnect, you're able to remove yourself from the day to day. You're able to remove yourself from the constant hustle and grind of, you know, client requests of different sorts of projects,
whatever it is, right? And what that does is it provides you with perspective, right? So when you can actually take a step back and gain that perspective, it allows you to have insights, right? And those insights allow you to innovate, right? And that innovation, it leads to more effectiveness with inside your life and inside your business, right? But again, unless you're disconnecting, unless you're, you know, closing
the laptop and, you know, taking a walk and doing those types of things so that you can really be free from all these different stimuli, all these different notifications, all of these different buzzes and, you know, distractions, it's really hard to gather that perspective and gather those insights and come up with different ideas and different ways to innovate. You know, a lot of the ideas you're going
to have are not going to be great, sure. But you only need a few great ideas to really substantially increase your effectiveness as a business owner and also as a human being, right? So a few quotes that I want to share is, this is an amazing quote from the book Traction and it talks about how you can't be in a system while at the same time understanding
the system that you're in. So in other words, you need to raise your head from time to time and see the system for what it is, whether it's good or bad, right? And we're normally so buried in the day to day scramble that we never take the time to do this. However, you'll see that every time you do, you'll see something new, right? And that will lead
to another insight, which will lead to another innovation, which will lead to another breakthrough, right? And again, you know, our culture has wired us to believe that we need to be doing, doing, doing all the time, right? We need to be, you know, moving project management tools from doing to done, right? We need to be checking in with emails. We need to be replying to emails. And
it's really easy to feel guilty about, you know, not actually doing the work, but the reality is this quote from the book Clockwork, which is an amazing book that I highly recommend every single one of you guys read. And it says that the goal is to have the company get shit done, right? Instead of doing the work, you need to be thinking about the work and who
you can get to do it, right? Because a lot of times we're going to feel guilty when we're just thinking instead of doing. But the reality is that thinking about the work, you know, thinking about how to innovate, thinking about the strategy, and then thinking about, you know, who and what resources you need to get the job done, that is what makes you a great business owner
and what makes you somebody that can innovate and grow bigger than everyone else that's constantly caught up in the day-to-day hustle, right? So I wanted to share those two quotes because it really provides a lot of perspective around this, the importance of disconnection. All right, thanks for that, Matt. Well, this is your new life. How peaceful does this baby look? This is how I want you sleeping
every single day. And everything outside of you sleeping like this is going to try to take this away from you. No one will understand how you could not work, not hustle, and be peaceful and travel. And then the WTF do you do phenomenon, people will just not understand, they're going to ask you. And so I've stratified people in the three sections. And there's more, but for the
sake of it, think of it this way, you're going to have your friends, and these are going to be people that are like-minded to understand, that are where you are, that have manufactured life to be, the life they wanted and deserved. There's going to be your family, some of them are going to be on your side, some of them are not going to be on your side,
some of them are going to ask you so many questions about it, that it's going to drive you crazy, but they're family. So I want you to keep them in your life. The third are going to be drinking buddies, and there's a huge distinction between friends and drinking buddies. And I don't know if you've noticed already, but you're going to notice over your life. Your drinking buddies
are there for a good time. And it's fine. It's fine for you to hang out with them. We have no problem with that. We're all about having a good time. But I want you to have more friends in your life, people that will be there for you when you need it and understand and are like-minded and can comprehend what you're going through when you are going through
stuff like existential crises, even though you're making money and everything's working. And your drinking buddies are going to be there for fun. So separate the two. All three of these are going to try to take you away from that sleep, that complete, utter, peaceful, thoughtless, emotionless, beautiful sleep, but you're not going to- you're going to keep it because you know that they're going to take you away
from it. And that's going to change everything. All right. So here are your action items. One, get your travel system set up. Go look at that sheet. Get what you need. Have a go bag. I want you to be able to go whenever you want, travel whenever you want. With yourself, your family, your friends, what have you, however you like it. Go for it. Two, buy melatonin.
Remember, you're going to get- you're going to gain weight if you don't. It's going to mess with your mind if you don't. You're going to be stressed out if you don't get it and set expectations for yourself. If you have to, record a video for yourself that will play halfway through your vacation, just reminding you like, hey, things are going to break, it's going to be fine.
Three, calculate your workout water and meal commitments. I mean, if you don't know what that means, go post on the Facebook group and ask us and we'll help you out with that. For commits to unplugging and disconnecting daily, that's really, really important. And I would even add five, like figure out who's your friend, who's your family, and who's a drinking buddy and stratify the three so you
have certain expectations of them or not have certain expectations, but you expect them to pull you certain ways. And don't forget to enjoy the view.
